About Us

Zsuzsanna Lengyel

I’ve always had a strong passion for languages, books, and learning. I love discussing stories with others, and over the years I’ve realized that the most effective way for me to learn is through reading and having meaningful conversations about what I read.

Building communities around my passions has always inspired me. I’ve been attending book clubs for years—I’m even a member of a Scandinavian crime fiction book club! We also organize ad hoc reading groups with other parents at our local Waldorf school to discuss important literature related to parenting. The more specific the theme, the better!

Book clubs keep me fully engaged with my reading. Knowing that others value my perspective makes me more mindful as I read. Over the years, my critical thinking skills have deepened, and I’ve become more open to different ideas and viewpoints.

As a Language Coach, English as a Foreign Language Teacher, and Communications Professional, I help language learners overcome obstacles and limiting beliefs, rediscover their passion for learning, and become confident, effective learners. I support professionals and entrepreneurs in reaching a level of English that truly makes a difference in their careers and professional lives.

I’ve been building my own business for years, and I’m constantly buzzing with new ideas. Business concepts truly excite me—that’s why I’m a passionate reader of books that challenge conventional thinking and transform how we see the world.

In my sessions with professional clients, I bring genuine curiosity and deep engagement. I love hearing about their businesses—their expertise, everyday challenges, and future ambitions—and supporting them with insight and energy.

I live in Szeged, in the south of Hungary, with my husband and two sons. I enjoy running long distances and doing daily workouts. I also love reading across various genres and formats, and I’ve recently started learning Spanish. I also run an online English book club where we read fiction.

Zsuzsa Mártonffy (please, call me Zsuzsa)

I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Corvinus University of Budapest, as well as a CEMS Master’s in International Management. Over the years, I’ve studied or worked in Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, and Russia.

For 15 years, I worked as a journalist and editor at Figyelő, a leading Hungarian business weekly, where I specialized in management and corporate topics. During that time, I conducted numerous interviews with management experts and bestselling business authors.

For the past eleven years, I’ve run an independent blog on adoption. I also organize online trainings and programs for adoptive parents, and have published two books on the topic in Hungary. I’m a certified mediator and group facilitator, with strong skills in building and moderating both online and offline communities.

My dream is to support women around the world who want to start their own businesses.

Currently, I live in Germany with my spouse and our three children. I founded an English-language book club in Saarbrücken, which has been active since 2023.

I’m a native Hungarian speaker, fluent in English and German, with some rusty—but retrievable—Russian. I love reading both literature and nonfiction, and there’s always a business book on my nightstand. I enjoy books in all formats—print, e-book, or audiobook—they’re all wonderful companions. My other passions include creative writing and CrossFit.

About Language Coaching:

What happens in a Language Coaching session?

Although every language coaching session is tailored for the learner, topics around language learning, such as progress, challenges, short- and long-term language goals, learning plans and routines, immediate language needs, as well as skill-focused language practice, learning methodology, motivation and mindset coaching, resource sharing and the discussion of language-related questions might all be components of our meetings.
